A individual indicted with harassing Kate McCann reportedly recorded her a recorded message which questioned: "what if I am Madeleine?"

Julia Wandelt, 24, who witnesses stated has repeatedly claimed she was the vanished Madeleine McCann, and Karen Spragg are facing charges indicted with pursuing Kate and Gerry McCann between June 2022 and February this year.

On Monday, the tribunal learned call records and information recovered from phones recorded Ms Wandelt persistently demanding Madeleine's mother for a DNA test over that period.

Madeleine's disappearance in 2007 - when she was three years old during a trip in Portugal - is among the most publicized child disappearance cases and remains open.

'I Don't Want Money'

One recorded message, presented in court, captured Ms Wandelt stating: "I understand I'm heavy and plain like Madeleine had been, but I believe what I feel."

While one recording of Ms Wandelt's monologues with Mrs McCann's recording expressed: "Imagine there is a slight possibility that I am she? What then? Wouldn't that be significant for you?"

"I don't want money, I have a life here in Poland, I just want to discover," she added.

The tribunal was informed that by means of emails, text messages and calls, Ms Wandelt demanded a genetic test, transmitted youth pictures to her phone in a attempt to display a resemblance to Mrs McCann's disappeared daughter, and claimed to have "memories" from a early life with the McCanns.

The investigator, an investigator with law enforcement who compiled the data, informed the court there "showed no any responses" from Mrs McCann.

Ms Wandelt also contacted family friends of the McCanns, according to the communication logs.

On 9 October 2024, Mr McCann answered a phone call from Ms Wandelt to his wife's phone, declaring she had "incorrect contact information."

During that incident Ms Wandelt deposited a voicemail on Mrs McCann's voicemail saying "I won't give up and I plan to establish my point."

The court learned the co-defendant established a association online with Ms Wandelt preceding joining her on a visit to the McCanns' home in the county in that winter.

Phone records showed Mrs Spragg had communicated through messaging service to Mrs McCann to state the press had portrayed Ms Wandelt as "emotionally disturbed" but that she deserved to be treated respectfully in the months leading up to the trip to that location, the county, in December 2024.

The court heard correspondence between the two individuals, in November 2024, planning endeavoring to obtain Mrs McCann's DNA samples from her bins or from silverware at a restaurant.

"We have to take action," the co-defendant informed Ms Wandelt.

On the night of the appearance to their home, Mrs Spragg dispatched a message which said: "We are positioned adjacent to the McCanns' home with our lights out similar to investigators. I wanted to accomplish this with Peter Andrew I didn't imagine I would be involved in this with the McCanns."
